You don't have to to be extreme. Just consistent.

You don’t need the perfect program. You just need to show up consistently. Some days you will feel great, the other days you won’t, but the most important part is that you will be there doing the work.

You guys might think about who I am or what I have achieved to write about consistency. I honestly can not tell you what it is or how to get it. However, I would love to share with you my way through my journey and how I have formed my consistency.
Consistency, on its face, takes time. To be consistent, you need to replicate positive behavior or performance day after day, until it defines you. It is a lot like building a habit.

1. Have specific goals.

The goals you are passionate about, the goals you are able to work on, and the goals that help you grow. Do you sometimes feel that your goals make you scared and doubt yourself? It is okay, I feel that very often, but Ellen Johnson Sirleaf once said “If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.” The size of our dreams must always exceed our current capacities to achieve them. I do believe we all can achieve anything we set our minds to. And when we have a goal, please do not forget to have a monthly/weekly/daily plan to work on. After all, we would realize that success is not overnight, it is when every day we get a little better than before. It adds up.
Have specific goals

2. Focus on little improvements.

That is a lot of patience and focus. That is a lot of work.
Why don't we allow ourselves to notice and celebrate the small wins, the incremental improvements we achieve along the way? They will keep us motivated.
Focus on little improvements

3. Face our emotions.

Jay Shetty had a video named 'Time is free, but it's priceless.' He said 'Inside all of us, there are two voices. One voice that wants us to uplift, one voice that wants us to expand, one voice that wants us to grow. And then there is the other voice - the voice that holds us back and makes us lazy, the voice that makes us complacent, the voice that restricts us from our potential. Every day from the moment we wake up until the moment we go to sleep, inside of us, there is this battle between the two voices. And guess which one wins? The one that we listen to the most. The one that we feed, the one that we amplify. It is our choice of how we use our time.'
Face our emotions.
I sometimes wonder if we have dreams, purposes, and plans, but why do we still compromise our laziness and delays? We all can rest and save time for ourselves but do not fall for our laziness. Push forward. Fight our emotions. If we do not, we will stay stuck.

4. Forgive our failures.

When we fail, we get up, then fail, then get up, then fail, then get up again. We all know we can be better than in the past, right? Then have a good cry, allow ourselves to have treat days to get stronger after.
Forgive our failures.
Remember “Success is not always about greatness. It is about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” – Dwayne Johnson.
